OUR NAME

Nuna (누나), is pronounced noo-na

"Nuna," which means "big sister" in Hangul (Korean). Our founder was inspired by clients' stories of their big sisters stepping in during tough times—advocating for their mental health, ensuring they got to appointments, and truly understanding their struggles when others dismissed their needs. Nuna was created to honor the power of collaboration in care and the loving support that big sisters from both chosen and intergenerational families provide.
