Renee Wyatt
Associate Clinical Social Worker - CA
Welcome,
I am an Associate Social Worker and proud resident of Compton with over 20 years of experience working with marginalized populations in Los Angeles. My roles have included Mental Health Therapist, Personal Service Coordinator, and Money Management Specialist. Having faced challenges such as maintaining sobriety, securing permanent housing, and finding employment, I understand the impact of systemic injustices on post-incarcerated individuals.
My dedication to underserved populations has driven me to take on roles like Housing Liaison. In 2012, I successfully housed 80% of the homeless population at Barbour & Floyd Medical Associates by navigating complex policies and procedures, earning the title "Housing Guru" from my boss.
My passion lies in changing policies that create barriers for the homeless, particularly those affecting under-resourced neighborhoods or individuals with criminal histories. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Public Administration from California State University Dominguez Hills and an Associate of Arts Degree in Business from Long Beach Community College.
If you're seeking a compassionate and experienced therapist who understands your struggles and is dedicated to advocating for systemic change, I am here to help. Let's work together towards a brighter future.
