Organized and facilitated by somatic practitioners Jenny, Mahfam, and Saima, the intention for this group is to be a movement vehicle for supporting organizers, cultural, and care workers who want to deepen their somatic practice in community and to continue on a path of embodied transformation.

About the event
This group meets in-person at the Mercado La Paloma community room to practice politicized somatics with others in the community. The group is aimed towards those who are organizers, cultural and care workers that would benefit from connection of mind and body.
The facilitators are trained generative somatics practitioners Jenny, Mahfam, and Saima.
For those who are new, sessions typically consist of introductions, solo, pair, and group practices and a debrief/space for questions.
Who is This For?
Those who are actively part of social and/or environmental justice movements (from organizers to members to politicized healers – anyone who works towards social and environmental justice),
